Ultrasound

Ultrasound - is a non-invasive method that uses high-frequency sound waves to observe structural tissue changes. Ultrasound does not use ionising radiation, so it is used as a first-choice investigation instrument to view the foetus during pregnancy. Ultrasonography is also used to diagnose and evaluate other organs and tissue changes including blood vessels, heart, liver, spleen, gallbladder, breast, thyroid and prostate.
