Juskeviciute Jurgita


Jurgita graduated with an Honours Degree and Masters in Physiotherapy (Rehabilitation), from the Sports University of Lithuania (www.lsu.lt) in 2005. A member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (www.iscp.ie), she has practised for the last ten years in Dublin (Sandycove Health Clinic, The Clinic Glenageary). Her previous clinical experience was in Cardiac and Neuro Rehabilitation, along with Traumatology and Orthopaedics, working in hospitals and private clinics in Spain (Hospital Doctor Peset; University Hospital La Fe), in Lithuania (Panevezys Rehabilitation & Physical Medicine Centre; Alytus S.Kudirkos Hospital), and France (Hôpital Lariboisière Paris).


Throughout her professional career she has continually completed a range of post-graduate training courses. One of the first physiotherapists to be certified in the practice of Mesotherapy for pain management, she trained in London under Professor Philippe Petit with the Society Of Mesotheapy in the UK and is a member of SOMUK. She is also a certified Dry Needling practitioner, having trained with Drs Johhson McEvoy, Christian Grobli (Switzerland) and Jan Dommerholt (USA).


Promoting recovery and injury prevention, Jurgita has specialist training in assessment diagnosis and treatment for people with musculoskeletal problems, particularly neck and back pain. Using the latest evidence-based practices with sports injuries, she is highly skilled in mobilisation and manipulation techniques, myofascial trigger point release, specific soft tissue massage, exercise therapy, as well as a range of Electrotherapy interventions.
